I am Muhammad Waseem, a postgraduate student at Adam Smith Business School. I am standing to be elected as President of the Student Representative Council (SRC). As a passionate and dedicated student, I am eager to serve as your representative, ensuring that your voices are heard and that we work together to improve our university experience.
My vision is to reform SRC for the better. I want SRC to be a body that puts students first and serves their interests. I want all of you to have a fulfilling university experience that you deserve. In this position, I want to empower all of you through my vision of welfare and reform by upholding the values we all stand for. I have a 9-point agenda I want to work on after being elected.
“As your President, I want to work on issues like inclusivity, tuition fee tier system, affordable housing, mental health support, financial assistance, sustainability, funding for clubs & societies, career counselling and divestment.”
I am here to make a difference through my actions. I am determined and committed to advocating for real change. I will listen to your concerns, act on them, and ensure that we work together for our shared goals. I need your help and support in my mission, and I want to hear your ideas and concerns.
